Where will your studies take you?
A new salon? New city? How about abroad?
ISA training, the largest independent hair and beauty training provider in Wales, has teamed up with the Erasmus+ programme to arrange a venture to Germany.
Four lucky apprentices are heading off for a two-week trip to experience salon life in a totally different culture. The trip will include, taking part in workshops in Steinburg, being welcomed into differing host salons and of course cultural trips to Hamburg and other nearby towns.
Hairdressing and barbering in Germany are one of the many crafts that you need to be fully qualified and registered as a Master Craftsman for, before opening your own business and employing apprentices. This can often take more than 10 years to achieve. These Welsh learners will not only experience diverse styles and varying techniques, but also a potentially different learning experience.
This brilliant idea came to life as part of ISA Training’s Oyster Project, based on the well known saying ‘the world is your oyster’. The project aspires to enhance learning experiences of apprentices, boosting confidence and broadening career horizons.
